The students who graduated from a qualified Canadian Post secondary institutions with at least 8 months of study and obtaining credentials can apply for Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP).
The qualified post-secondary institutions are:
- All Public Post Secondary Institutions (that provide such credentionals as Diploma, Certificate or Degree)
- All Private Colleges or Universities that confer degrees such as Associate Degree (2 years) or Bachelor's Degree (3-4 years) or Master's Degree. NOTE: All diplomas or certificates from private colleges or universities are NOT eligible for PGWP
- Quebec Vocational degrees and University and College degrees
When to apply:
- Within 90 days of finishing the program (getting a transcript) and letter from the institution
- Before the EXPIRY date of Study Permit (usually 90 days fron the last program date)
